Rate for Technical Authoring

My rate for authoring a technical manual is R400 per hour. This includes the time taken:

1. to collect the information from chief engineers and technicians, library and vendor documents, engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
2. to learn the formatting requirements
3. to write the manual, including the list of effective pages
4. to make any changes requested.
